Glenn D. Warden, M.D., M.B.A.

Glenn Warden received his M.D. from the University of Utah in 1968. His distinguished career in burn surgery began with a research fellowship at the United States Army Institute of Surgical Research Burn Unit at Brooke Army Medical Center (1971-1974). In 1976, he was appointed to the surgical faculty at the University of Utah, rising to full Professorship in 1985. He served as Director of the Intermountain Burn Center and the Trauma Division in the department of Surgery from 1977 to 1985. In 1985, he became Professor of Surgery at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, Director of the Burn Division of the department of Surgery and the Chief of Staff of the Shriners Hospital for Children, Cincinnati Burns Hospital. He was appointed Vice-Chairman of the department of Surgery in 1997. In 1999, he received a Masters of Business Administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dr. Warden has authored over 600 manuscripts in burn care and serves as Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Burn Care & Rehabilitation. He was President of the American Burn Association (ABA) from 1992-1993 and recipient of the coveted Harvey Stuart Allen Distinguished Service Award in 1997. He chaired the General and Plastic Surgery Devices Council of the Food and Drug Administration in 1992 and contributes to several medical advisory boards and 39 professional societies. Dr. Warden is currently Adjunct Professor of Surgery, University of Utah, Professor of Surgery Emeritus, University of Cincinnati, and Emeritus Chief of Staff of the Shriners Hospital for Children, Cincinnati Burns Hospital and Staff Surgeon, Intermountain Shrine Hospital for Children, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Prompted by his long interest in tissue banking, Dr. Warden became C.E.O. of USTC Tissue and Cell in 2000 and retired from surgery to perform this role full time from 2004-2005. He presently serves as C.E.O. of Warden BioScience Associates in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Dr. Richard Anderson, M.D., AOA
Dr. Richard Anderson graduated AOA from the University of Iowa Medical School. He completed surgical internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Iowa. He completed fellowships in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at Albany Medical Center and the University of California San Francisco. He returned to the University of Iowa in July 1976 to begin his academic career as Assistant Professor and Director of the Oculoplastic and Orbital Service at the University of Iowa. He was a prolific writer and innovator in his field and became full professor and chief of the Division in July 1982. In 1984, he moved to Salt Lake City to begin private practice and was appointed Professor and Chief of the Division of Ophthalmic Plastic and Facial Cosmetic surgery at the University of Utah, a position he maintained until 1999. In 1999, he became medical director of Oculoplastic Surgery, Inc. and The Center for Facial Appearances in Salt Lake City, UT, a position he maintains to date. He is board certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American College of Surgeons.
At both the University of Iowa and the University of Utah, Dr. Anderson developed oculoplastic divisions with some of the largest volume in the country. He has trained over fifty U.S. and foreign fellows, many of whom direct oculoplastic programs around the country and world. He has published over 300 scientific papers and book chapters, and 2 books in oculoplastic, facial plastic and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Anderson has developed many modern-day techniques in oculoplastic, facial plastic and cosmetic surgery. He has delivered over 700 papers at scientific (national and international) meetings. He has been, or is presently, on the editorial board of 11 journals in the field, including Archives of Ophthalmology, Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery.
In the past 15 years Dr. Anderson has been named to the top of his field by a number of organizations. In 1991, Good Housekeeping and Reader’s Digest magazines named him to the best 400 Doctors in America, as the only Oculoplastic Surgeon named to that group. He has been named to the Best Doctors in America yearly. In 1998, Dr. Anderson was honored by Ophthalmology Times as the top doctor in oculoplastic surgery. He received the Achievement in Ophthalmology Award as 1 of 5 doctors to make the greatest contributions in their fields. He has received many other honors and awards within his field, including The Heed Foundation Award for outstanding contributions to ophthalmology, The American Academy of Ophthalmology Honor Award and Senior Honor Award and The Lester Jones and Wendell Hughes Awards. Dr. Anderson has been a member of many medical advisory boards, including the Benign Essential Blepharospasm Research Foundation, and is on the board of directors for the aforementioned foundation. He is a past vice president of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and a member of the prestigious Orbital Society.
Mark B. Taylor, M.D.
Dr. Mark Taylor is a world-renowned dermatologist and cosmetic-laser surgeon who has been in practice for over thirty years. Since the origination of laser treatments for skin, Dr. Taylor has been a leader in the field of cosmetic laser surgery, pioneering and teaching many new laser techniques to over 4,000 doctors world-wide. Dr. Taylor and his well-trained staff use cutting-edge products and over twenty-eight different lasers to provide a range of high-quality services, including removal of birthmarks, hair, scars, spider veins, and tattoos; skin rejuvenation and resurfacing; eyelid restoration and lip enhancement; tumescent liposuction and cosmetic skin surgery, acne, cellulite, and stretch mark treatments.
Dr. Taylor received his medical degree from the University of Utah and is board-certified in dermatology through the American Board of Dermatology. He is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, as well as many other professional organizations. He was the first doctor in the world to use the Krypton and VeinLase lasers for the treatment of vascular and pigmented lesions. Dr. Taylor was also one of the first researchers to use the PhotoDerm, Derma K, Cynergy and MX 1540 Lasers. Many physicians have traveled to Gateway for instruction from Dr. Taylor on advanced techniques in laser resurfacing. In addition, Dr. Taylor has developed new techniques for many other laser treatments and cosmetic surgeries, which he performs on a regular basis in his busy practice in Salt Lake City.
